MRWC’s mission is to protect and enhance the health of the Millers River and its watershed for the long-term benefit of its human and non-human residents. We pursue this goal by:
- educating residents and local officials on watershed issues and encouraging them to be watershed advocates;
- involving people in monitoring and other stewardship activities;
- collaborating with municipalities, state agencies and other organizations on issues affecting watershed and community health, such as stormwater management, ecotourism development, drinking water protection, and open space preservation.
